In DVP you can make a quote using the ‘make a quote’ button in the update vehicle window. Or you can just click the ‘make a quote’ button in the main window after selecting the vehicle. This will open up the quote window. It will be slightly different for used vehicles and new vehicles.

Type in all the information in different tabs in the window. There are six tabs: Purchaser’s Information, Vehicle Information, Insurance Information, Guaranty/Warranty, Vehicle to be Traded-in and Terms of Financing. Select each tab and type in the required information. Some boxes will be automatically filled with available information. Enter the vehicle price and other charges in the Terms of Settlement portion. After entering all the required information press the calculate button to perform calculations such as taxes, total amount due etc. Use the loan calculator to calculate monthly payments and number of payments. The results would be displayed in respective boxes. Press Save button to save the quotation and Print button to take a print out.
