To add vehicles to your inventory click ‘Add Vehicles’ button in the main window or select Tools -> Add Vehicles from the main menu . This will open the add vehicles window up. This window may be a lot to take in all at once, so here is a basic description on everything you are looking at in this window.
Specifications
Here you enter detailed specifications of the vehicle you are adding to inventory.
VIN Number: Enter in the VIN number for this vehicle.
Stock Number: Enter in the Stock Number for this vehicle.
Colour: Enter in the colour for this vehicle.
Make: Select the manufacturer of this vehicle.
Model: Specify the model of this vehicle.
Trim Level: Specify the trim level of this model.
Year: Enter in the model year of the vehicle in 4 digits. (Ex. 1996)
Gas/Diesel/Hybrid: Select the vehicle is a Gas, Diesel or Hybrid one
New/Used: Specify whether or not the car is USED or NEW.
Transmission: Select the Transmission type for this vehicle.
Drive Train: Specify the Drive Train for this vehicle.
Cylinders: Specify the number of Cylinders this vehicle has.
Vehicle Type: Specify the type of vehicle you are entering.
Body Style: Specify the Body Type of the vehicle.
Number of Doors: Specify the number of doors the vehicle has.
Mileage: Enter in the mileage in either KM or per MILES.
Engine (Litres): Specify the capacity for the engine in Litres. (1 Litre = 0.2642 gallons)
City (Litres/100KM): Specify the amount if litres used up in 100KM of driving. (100KM = 62 miles)
Cost $: Specify the Cost of the vehicle in dollars.
Selling $: Specify the selling price of the vehicle on dollars.
Special $: Specify the Special sale price of the vehicle in dollars.
Description: You can enter in extra descriptions for your vehicle in this field.
Comments: Any extra comments you wish to enter in for your vehicle can go here.
Finance/Lease: Specify whether or not the vehicle is financed or leased.
Payment $: Enter in the payment in dollars for financing.
Rate %: Enter in the percentage rate for the vehicle.
Term: Select the number of terms.
$ Down: Enter in the dollar amount of money down.
For/Up-to: Select either For or Up To.
# Of Payments: Select the number of payments that are needed.
Residual $: Enter in the Residual price in dollars.
Expired: Enter in the Expiry information.
Terms and Conditions: Enter in any special Terms and Conditions in this box that applies to the vehicle you are entering.
Month/Day/year: Enter in the date it was added to the inventory.
Demo: Specify whether this vehicle is a demo or not.
Hide Price: Select this option to hide the price of the vehicle to the consumer.
Auto Delete after 365 days Sold: Automatically delete this information from your database once the vehicle has been sold for 365 days.
Note: Finance/Lease options and Check boxes for Demo, Hide Vehicle, Hide Price, Auto Delete etc. are for web site only. This may not have any effect in your program.
