DVP allows you to create new user accounts with different access levels. For enhanced security different categories of users have different access permissions as given below:.
1. Dealer Principal – This category has the full access to all menus and commands. He/she can update or delete vehicles, print reports, make and print quotes/bills of sale. They can add new users and delete existing users. In short they have full access to use the program with all functionality.
2. Financing – This category of users have all the powers of a dealer principal except ‘delete’.
3. Sales Person – This user has only limited access to the program. He/she can do only things like view the details of vehicles, search inventory for vehicles etc. They are not allowed to add, delete or update vehicles or make quotes/bills of sale.
